My earliest traveling memories are of visiting my grandparents in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Sea Island, Georgia. As I’ve grown older, I see my family more on the road than at home. Travel has strengthened my relationships with my family members, allowed me to grow as an individual, and kept me learning about the world.
Travel has always been a part of who I am. However, joining the travel industry never crossed my mind until I “discovered” the career when a luxury travel advisor helped my family plan a trip to visit me in Vietnam, where I was living for a post-college year abroad. Experiencing the benefits of utilizing an advisor’s expertise and connections as a client first convinced me that there is no other way to travel.
The most fulfilling part of my career is playing a small role in our clients’ journeys and helping them discover their preferred travel style. Remote destinations have had a great impact on me as a person and I hope our clients’ travels do the same for them.
Starting Sea to City Travels gifted me the opportunity to learn about the world each and every day, while also helping our clients travel deeply, passionately, and seamlessly.
An eye mask for long flights; it’s the only way I get decent sleep and my Kindle so I never run out of reading material.
My mom joined me on a scouting trip to South Africa. I finally found my first leopard on safari - I missed them while in Kenya. It was the last of the Big 5 on my list and it was so fun sharing my love of safari with my mom sitting next to me!
Rwanda because my hour spent with the mountain gorillas is an experience that’s hard to put into words. Italy because there’s always a new town to discover and another bowl of pasta waiting.
Work with us to plan guides and experiences ahead of time but also remember that building free time into an itinerary can be equally as important. Finding your perfect balance is integral to the best travel experience!
